As we outlined yesterday, Terry Bussey (ATH, Timpson High School) was one of just eight remaining Top 300 recruits to put pen to paper officially signing their letter of intent ahead of National Signing Day.

Despite taking visits to both Georgia and LSU in the last couple weeks Bussey made it official with the Texas A&M Aggies this morning.

Bussey, a top tier five star in the 2024 recruiting class, played four sports in high school, and can truly play four positions on the football field as well. It's unclear exactly where he will settle in Texas A&M, but he likely plays wide receiver or defensive back for them (perhaps both in spring practice).

Bussey officially becomes the first five star signee for new head coach Mike Elko. Although Elko had been the defensive coordinator for the Aggies in the past, he didn't have an established track record of recruiting five stars in a head coaching role (mainly because he was the head coach at Duke). This is the first step in that direction, proving Elko can bring in some of the top talents across the country.
