The New York Giants are firmly in the running for a new quarterback via the 2024 NFL Draft. It seems likely that Daniel Jones will at least get a chance to start next season, but past that, it is a bit more cloudy. With a top six pick in the first round. New York would be ignorant to ignore the QB class in this year's draft.
According to the New York Post, one of the top quarterbacks in the class has been working with Giants legend Eli Manning during the pre-draft process.
North Carolina QB, and expected top ten pick, Drake Maye has been putting in work with the legendary Giants QB.
“I’ve been working with Eli throughout the process, getting on Zooms and talking football with him… I’m working out in Mobile, Alabama, and his backup quarterback in college was Dave Morris, and he’s training me for the draft. Pretty small world. And, I was at the Manning Camp this summer, so I got to see Eli and Peyton.’’

Maye is expected to go quite early in the 2024 NFL Draft, so New York may have to move up if they want the prized QB prospect. The UNC grad is an impressive blend of athleticism and arm talent that some believe may be the top quarterback in the class.
The North Carolina QB joined Manning at an event on Wednesday, February 7th. It will be intriguing to see if Eli could play a hand in the organization's aggressiveness to draft Maye in April.
