The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced their official staff for the 2024 season, and some changes were made. Obviously, we know about the new defensive coordinator in, Ryan Nielsen, but some other changes were made as well.

The Jaguars made nine new coaching hires and two promotions this week. However, one position wasn't filled at all.

It would appear that the Jaguars are moving on from the pass game coordinator they had last season.

In 2022, Jim Bob Cooter held the title until he left to become the offensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts. Then, Nick Holz took over in 2023, and he left this offseason to become the offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans. In 2024, it appears the Jaguars won't use the position on their staff, for now, that is.

It's not easy to see that the Jaguars pass game was bad last season when it should have been good based on the way the roster was constructed. This could be a good thing for them or a bad thing. Either way, it's something we will have to find out.
