The Kansas City Chiefs held their first real practice of the week on Thursday ahead of Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers. They're installing the game plan this week ahead of their travel to Las Vegas, Nevada. That means these practices are pivotal as they prepare to face the 49ers.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Chiefs HC Andy Reid confirmed some injury news that fans already knew, but he also provided a glimmer of hope that another injured player might be able to play in the big game on Feb. 11.

"As far as injuries go, Charles Omenihu will be out with a torn ACL," Reid began. "Then (Joe) Thuney will not practice today. He's making progress. We're not counting him out. We'll see how he does."

Outside of those two injuries, the Chiefs look healthy heading into Super Bowl LVIII. They have just 13 players listed on the injury report. The majority of those players were considered full participants in today's practice.
