Former Tennessee Vols basketball star Grant Williams went viral on Monday night thanks to his former Boston Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum.
Williams, who landed with the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the 2023-24 season, attempted to get a shot off before halftime from near midcourt.
Tatum, however, furiously blocked the shot into the crowd and then appeared to have some words for Williams.
After the game, Tatum said he put a little something extra on the block while adding that he couldn't repeat what he said to Williams on the court.
It was all love between Tatum and Williams before the game, but clearly the competitive juices kicked in once the game started.
