Cam Newton suggested he may not be done with football.

The former Carolina Panthers legend went on Good Morning Football and claimed that if he were to return, it would be for the Panthers' NFC South rival, Atlanta Falcons.

"It's always been about family, and I don't see myself leaving Atlanta," Newton said when asked if he would play again. "So if it's not Atlanta, I don't want it."

Newton last played for the Panthers in 2021. He was a midseason return for Carolina.

During his home stretch with the Panthers, Newton went winless and hasn't received an opportunity at the NFL level since.

He has often been vocal on his podcast about being able to play.

Now, he is continuing to make a pitch to the league that he can still play if given the opportunity.
