One of the nation's top 2025 defensive recruits is reportedly planning to visit the Tennessee Vols.

According to 247Sports' Tom Loy, 2025 four-star edge rusher Nasir Wyatt has a visit to Tennessee "in the works".

Wyatt's visit to Tennessee could be happening this weekend (the Vols have a home basketball game against Alabama on Saturday).

He's also planning to visit Oregon and Ohio State in the near future.

From 247Sports: While the dates seem to be still a work in progress, Wyatt is expected at Tennessee, Oregon and Ohio State. These are three “huge trips” as he calls them, especially with the fact that he’s at the top of the board for each program.

There is an expectation that he's in Knoxville this weekend, Eugene the following, and then Columbus after that. However, all of that is still being figured out. Either way, all three programs will host Wyatt in the coming weeks and all three coaching staffs are surely thrilled.

Wyatt, 6-foot-2/210 lbs from Santa Ana, CA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 2 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of California. He's also rated as the No. 25 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class (which means he will likely be elevated to five-star status in the coming months).

The talented edge rusher attends Mater Dei, which is the same high school that Tennessee wide receiver Bru McCoy attended. The Vols would be wise to make sure McCoy gets to spend plenty of time around Wyatt when he makes his trip to Knoxville.
