The Los Angeles Rams haven't cared about draft picks in years.

Famously, the Rams' general manager Les Snead wore a "f— them picks" shirt after the 2022 Super Bowl, where he mortgaged the team's future in draft capital for a chance at a championship. He won that bet. The Rams own the No. 19 pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but Snead isn't too sure he won't trade it for other options.

"A little too early to tell,” Snead said at a press conference on Friday.

The last time the Rams used a first-round pick was in 2016 when the team selected Jared Goff, whom they traded to the Lions for Matthew Stafford and a Super Bowl win.

Since then, Los Angeles has landed stars like Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua, among others, without using a first-round pick.

With a roster restoked, it is assumed the Rams could use the No. 19 pick to select a quarterback who will be given the keys to the offense once Stafford officially calls it quits.

But that isn't a guarantee. And besides, Snead has proven a team doesn't always need picks to be a competitive football team.

If Snead trades out of the first round, he can keep a nearly unprecedented eight-year streak of not picking in the first round.

Washington holds the record of 11 straight drafts without making a first-round selection.

Rams: Raheem Morris eyeing potential head coaching roles with NFL rivals

Raheem Morris has a busy weekend ahead of him.  The Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator has landed at least five interview requests, with one of the most recent being from the Seattle Seahawks, who are set to interview Morris Friday, Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reported. Morris will also interview with the Washington Commanders on Friday. […]
