While the Kansas City Chiefs have recently dominated the rivalry between them and the Las Vegas Raiders, it has had some interesting moments. If you root for the Chiefs, you are all about the "snowglobe" play, which saw the Chiefs huddle up and spin in a circle while beating the Raiders by nearly 20 points.
If you are a Raiders fan, you hang your hat on the time the Raiders won at home and drive in circles around Arrowhead Stadium. But both fan bases share a memory from the recent rivalry: when Patrick Mahomes and Maxx Crosby went at each other.
Last year, these two teams played on Monday Night Football and tempers flared. We saw Crosby and Mahomes trash-talk each other. During the Broncos-Bills game, Mahomes was on the Manning Cast on ESPN, and he said something that will stick with Raiders fans.
"I need that clip (head but with Crosby) to stop playing because we play Crosby soon. I don't want him to remember that," Mahomes said to Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN.
These two are competitors during the game. But they do have respect for each other.
"His competitiveness. Most quarterbacks aren't like that. They are silent. Pat's not like that; he will get right back up in your face," Crosby said in the offseason on Von Miller's podcast.
The Chiefs have dominated the matchups for the most part, but it's always fun watching these two play against one another.
