NASHVILLE — ___ Tennessee Titans players have been announced as inactives for the team's Week 11 matchup with the division rival Jacksonville Jaguars, and second-year quarterback Malik Willis is one of them.
Willis has now dropped to third on the Titans' quarterback depth chart with veteran Ryan Tannehill returning from his high ankle sprain to back up Will Levis on Sunday.
Here's a look at everyone else on Tennessee's roster that is inactive this weekend.
– QB Malik Willis
– CB Sean Murphy-Bunting
– LT Andre Dillard
– WR Treylon Burks
– OLB Caleb Murphy
– OLB Trevis Gipson
– OL Calvin Throckmorton
WR Treylon Burks, LT Andre Dillard, and CB Sean Murphy-Bunting are all inactive after being ruled out with injuries this week. Burks and Dillard did not clear concussion protocol while SMB underwent a surgery on this right thumb that will keep him out this weekend.
OL Daniel Brunskill not being listed is a positive for the Titans. Brunskill will play and start at right guard for Tennessee with the team desperately needing continuity on the offensive line.
Meanwhile, newly acquired OL Calvin Throckmorton will be inactive. This is likely due to Throckmorton arriving in the middle of the week and not having enough time to get prepared.
Typically, I expect Throckmorton to be Tennessee's backup interior lineman. But with him inactive this weekend, the Titans elevated OL Andrew Rupcich from the practice squad. Tennessee also elevated LB Joe Jones.
