The Chargers are now 4-6 following a 23-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 11. It was another unacceptable loss in a game where the Chargers could have grabbed a needed victory.
Rookie wideout Quentin Johnston made a major mistake late in the loss. Down three with less than two minutes left, he dropped a great throw from Justin Herbert that could have given the Chargers the lead.
All in all, a game is not decided in one play. Even if they get that catch from the rookie, they may have just gotten into field goal range. There was no guarantee for a win if Johnston makes the play.
Not to mention, the defense for L.A. struggled again. Against a below average Packers offense, they gave up 23 points. Jordan Love threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns. Even after GB lost two of their running backs to injury, the Chargers still couldn't shut them down through the air.
It'll be a learning experience for Johnston, who the Chargers need more from without Mike Williams.
Los Angeles needs to get back on track immediately, or their season will be over in the next couple of weeks.
