The Tennessee Vols suffered a tough loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, but they received some good news to end the weekend.

On3 reported on Sunday evening that 2025 three-star cornerback Tyler Redmond committed to Tennessee over offers from Ohio State and NC State, among several others.

Redmond, 6-foot-2/175 lbs from Alpharetta, GA (Milton), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 40 cornerback in the nation and the No. 36 player in the state of Georgia.

Redmond told On3 that his close relationship with Tennessee cornerbacks coach Willie Martinez is a big reason why he chose to commit to the Volunteers.

Tennessee now has four players committed to its 2025 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 12 in the nation. Redmond is the Vols' highest rated 2025 commit so far.
