Just like many of his teammates, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had to answer questions about cornerback DaRon Bland, who has put himself in the NFL history books with four pick-sixes in 2023.

The historic run he's in has only been matched by three others in league history, the latest being Eric Allen back in 1993. Now, Bland has everyone talking about making the All-Pro team and even potentially getting some D.P.O.Y. consideration.

When talking to reporters after a comfortable 33-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, Prescott delivered a simple yet powerful postgame anecdote about DaRon Bland.

Bland has been huge for the Cowboys since 2022, when he was forced to start at nickel as a rookie due to Jourdan Lewis' season-ending injury. Now, his ability to transition to outside cornerback following Trevon Diggs' torn ACL has been invaluable to the defense.

Cowboys’ rising star inches closer to standing alone in NFL history

The Dallas Cowboys took a tough blow when they lost star cornerback Trevon Diggs. Another defensive back has stepped up in a major way, though. That's cornerback Daron Bland.  After his pick six against the Carolina Panthers in Week 11, Cowboys CB Daron Bland now has 4 interceptions returned for a touchdown. That's tied for […]
