When Hall of Famer Tony Dungy speaks, most Colts fans listen.

And he shared his concerns about the inconsistency with NFL officiating today.

The call Dungy is questioning is the NFL's intentional grounding penalty and whether or not a deep shot inside the pocket with no WR in sight should be called.

It doesn't seem Dungy's gripe is about whether or not it should be called. His problem here is the main gripe most people have with NFL officiating: the lack of consistency.

In this instance, Dungy states that NFL officials two weeks prior shared that a similar play was intentional grounding, but in terms of the play, he shared no flag was thrown. One of the perks of Dungy no longer being a coach in the NFL is that he can openly criticize NFL officiating without the fear of a fine waiting for him.
