The Indianapolis Colts fell to 3-5 after their 38-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

This week's player of the week comes from one player's performance, where nearly all of his stats came from the first half.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor rushed for 94 of his 95 yards in the first half In Week 8. And he did so in dominant fashion. It was the best we've seen Taylor look all year and should have led to a big 2nd half. Instead, he would only touch the ball once in the 2nd half for one yard, as the team elected to stay with their plan of splitting possessions between Taylor and backup Zack Moss.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen's decision to take the ball out of Taylor's hand is for sure the most questionable move he has made as the team's head coach. This is something the team needs to refrain from doing going forward. When Taylor is at his best, he is one of the best-skill players in the entire NFL. They decided to pay him accordingly, and now it's time for Steichen to act like it. Because in Week 8, Taylor certainly looked ready for his usage to be increased going forward.
