The Kansas City Chiefs have finally lost to the Denver Broncos with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback. The last time the Broncos beat their division rival was in 2015. That was 16 straight wins over the Broncos for the Chiefs, which is hard enough to do.
But, hey, shout out to the Broncos for winning the Super Bowl. Well, I mean, at least that's how they acted after the win. I get it; it's a huge deal. But, at the end of the day, you are still a team that hasn't done anything this year and likely won't.
You are still a 3-5 team on your way to a top-five pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Not to mention, how they celebrated after the game was just a bit silly and embarrassing, to say the least.
One Broncos reporter tweeted after the game that the Broncos started playing Taylor Swift in the stadium after the win.
That's not only petty shade but definitely weird. I already explained most of it, but imagine a team that has pretty much owned you for nearly ten years; you beat them in one of the weirdest games ever and celebrate by playing Taylor Swift because she is now a part of the fan base.
Just weird, overall, really. But, hey, I guess the Chiefs will see Denver in the playoffs, right?
