The Atlanta Falcons were in need of some help on the defensive line, and the Philadelphia Eagles had just the player that could help them out.

Multiple sources report that the Falcons traded for defensive tackle Kentavius Street in exchange for a late round pick. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the news first.

The Athletic's Jeff Howe provided some additional information on the trade, adding that the Falcons also received a 2025 seventh-round pick, while the Eagles will get a sixth round pick if Street plays in at least six games.

This move comes ahead of the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline on Tuesday, and it comes after the Falcons lost Pro Bowl defensive tackle Grady Jarrett for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL.

Jarrett finishes the season 23 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two passes defended.

Street on the other hand is able to go somewhere that needs him, having appeared in every game this season for the Eagles, but only registering four tackles.

He signed with Philadelphia prior to the 2023 NFL season on a one-year deal.

However, this might not be the only move the Falcons look to make.

NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reports that the Falcons are still "sniffing around for more pass rush upgrades ahead of (the) trade deadline)."

So let's see what other moves might happen ahead of the deadline.
