The Kansas City Chiefs have released an updated version of their "unofficial" depth chart ahead of the Week 9 game against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany.
Many fans will be disappointed with this week's depth chart because there is only a minor change regarding the wide receiver position, and it has to do with a recent roster development. Remember, these depth charts are considered "unofficial" because they're assembled by the PR team and might not reflect what the coaching staff has planned.
There isn't much new this week, outside of one change.

The two roster moves reflected on the depth chart this week:
- Justyn Ross was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List late last week. He no longer counts against the 53-man roster. He was behind Mecole Hardman on the depth chart previously, so he doesn't shake up or change anything outside of no longer being reflected on the depth chart.
- Darius Harris was signed off of the Raiders' practice squad. He's now backing up Drue Tranquill at MIKE linebacker, but he has the ability to play all three positions.
You really don't have to look far to understand this depth chart doesn't always reflect reality. Matt Dickerson is listed behind Neil Farrell Jr. on the depth chart, yet the trade acquisition has been a healthy scratch, while Dickerson has played in each of the past several weeks.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be without two players as they start their practice week for the Miami Dolphins in Week 9.
