Cleveland Browns will soon be making some roster moves with Deshaun Watson out for the season.

During his media availability on Wednesday, general manager Andrew Berry made it clear that the Browns will be signing another quarterback.

Currently, the only other quarterbacks on the roster are P.J. Walker and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

With the trade deadline already passed, the Browns’ only option is to sign a quarterback. They’ll be able to get one from a practice squad elsewhere, or they can take a look at free agents. At this point, don’t expect a flash move of any sort, as the Browns do like what they have in the QB room according to Berry.

Free agent quarterbacks that are out there that could be possible are Joe Flacco, Nick Foles, Will Grier, Colt McCoy, Chase Daniel, and Trevor Siemian, amongst others.

Other long-shot additions would be Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers, Tom Brady, or Drew Brees. All of these players are long shots and the Browns would have to really sell them on the roster makeup.

Cleveland has an elite defense and some playmakers on offense, as well as a good offensive line when healthy. We will soon know which direction the Browns want to go.
