The Vikings have a ton of injured players right now. The team has been hit hard by the injury bug this year, and that trend continues this week.
On the team's first injury report for Week 11, a whopping 12 players were included. Obviously, not all of these players will be out, but some likely will.
Three players were held completely out on Wednesday: Alexander Mattison, Akayleb Evans, and Greg Joseph. Evans is nursing a calf injury while Mattison is dealing with a concussion. Joseph's absence was not injury related.
Five players were limited: Brian Asamoah II, Jaren Hall, TJ Hockenson, Justin Jefferson, and Nick Mullens. Jefferson and Mullens are within their 21-day practice windows and have not been activated yet.
Asamoah has been dealing with his injury for a couple of weeks now, and Hall remains limited due to a concussion. Hockenson is still dealing with bruised ribs.
Finally, four players were listed as full participants: Joshua Dobbs, Dean Lowry, KJ Osborn, and Chris Reed. Reed, like Jefferson and Mullens, is within his 21-day practice window.
It is notable that Dobbs, Hall, and Mullens are all dealing with injury. The Vikes have Sean Mannion on the practice squad if needed.
