The happenings for the Cleveland Browns so far in Week 11 have already weight on oddsmakers.

Cleveland’s starting quarterback Deshaun Watson went down with a fractured bone in his shoulder and the odds instantly changed for their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Monday to start the week, Bet365 had the Browns as -4 favorites over the Steelers at home. After the Watson news broke that line changed to -2. When the Browns revealed that rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson would start, the odds went to Browns +1.

Cleveland was no longer the favorite when it was made known that they would go back to their rookie. His performance back in Week 4 in the loss to the Ravens is the reason why, as he tossed three interceptions in a blowout loss at home.

This time, the Browns hope it is different with a game plan built around him, as well as a full week knowing he would be the starter. Back in Week 4, Watson was adamant that he would be the starter up until the morning of the game.

As of Thursday morning, FanDuel still has the Browns at -1.5. There is some positivity still that the Browns can move to 7-3 behind their tough defense against a Steelers offense that hasn’t been very good.

Week 11 should be a good one, nonetheless, and some oddsmakers don’t know how to feel about the quarterback decision just yet.
