A convincing Week 1 win over the Cincinnati Bengals is already paying dividends for the Cleveland Browns.
After a 24-3 thumping of the Bengals, Cleveland has jumped eight spots in Sports Illustrated’s NFL Power Rankings.
Cleveland made a jump from No. 22 to No. 14 in these power rankings after the impressive victory to start the season.
Last week: win vs. Cincinnati, 24–3
Next week: at Pittsburgh

Along with the Baltimore Ravens, the Browns are the only teams to pick up a Week 1 win in the AFC North. Cleveland can help themselves out big time with a win over Pittsburgh in Week 2.
The Steelers were taken to the woodshed by the San Francisco 49ers, 30-7, so Pittsburgh will want to bounce back badly at home. On the road in Pittsburgh, this will be a tough game for the Browns, as it usually is in this division.
With another win, the Browns could be taken even more seriously and jump inside the top 10 potentially.
