The Houston Texans appear to have hit on several of their 2023 NFL Draft picks. After some nifty trading, the Texans were able to secure both CJ Stroud AND Will Anderson, considered two of the best prospects in the draft.

The results through four weeks have been promising. The Texans are sitting at 2-2 with impressive wins over the Jaguars and Steelers. Stroud looks well on his way to becoming a quality starting QB in this league, and rookie fifth-rounder Henry To'oTo'o leads the team in tackles.

However, Anderson may be the most impressive of the bunch thus far.

The rookie Anderson has the third-highest pass-rush win rate among all defenders at 31%. Only Micah Parsons and Boye Mafe win more frequently than the Texans' rookie.

Perhaps most impressively, this is with Anderson facing a double-team 28% of the time. Only Parsons and Nick Bosa have faced double teams more frequently.

On the season, Anderson has 15 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, and one kick blocked. While Anderson isn't yet racking up the sacks, his win percentage implies it's only a matter of time before he is.
