A familiar face rejoined the Indianapolis Colts Thursday morning.

The Colts announced that they have re-signed offensive lineman Dakoda Shepley to their practice squad.

Shepley spent this year's training camp with the Colts. He is a versatile lineman with the ability to play guard and center. At one point during training camp, he was listed as the team's 2nd string center following Danny Pinter being placed on IR before moving Wesley French back to his natural position of center.

After calling Arlington Hambright to their active 53-man roster, adding a lineman to replace him on the practice squad made sense for the team. Shepley will now be a player to watch to be called up for this week's game if Ryan Kelly can't be cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol in time. They placed CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart on the practice squad injury list in a corresponding move.
