The Pittsburgh Steelers will be traveling across the country this week, taking on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football.

Two 1-1 teams, it may be only Week 3, but neither team wants to slide below .500 in the win column.

So in an effort to get a beat on all things Raiders, I spoke with Justin Churchill of A to Z Sports Las Vegas:

What's Up With The Raiders Offense?

The Raiders are 1-1 but they have scored a combined 27 points in two games, what would you say has been the biggest issue offensively? – Gregson

One of the bigger issues they have had is establishing a dominant run game with Josh Jacobs like they had last season. He is coming off one of his worst games ever, where he finished with -2 yards on nine carries. It's not just him, though, as the offensive line hasn't given him much to work with. This offense gets going through the air when the run is there, and neither are really there. – Churchill

Josh Jacobs Doesn't Look Like Himself

Is the usage of Josh Jacobs this far just because of the way games have played out? Or is he still working himself back into shape after holding out in search of a contract? – Gregson

He is in great shape. According to him, he is in some of the best shape he has been in his life. However, we know that football shape is different. Sure, he has been gassed a bit, but the usage has more so been the way the games have played out, and the Raiders are just trying to find anything that will work on the ground. – Churchill

What Are The Early Returns on Jimmy G?

I know we are only two weeks in, but what are the early returns on QB Jimmy G?
– Gregson

He knows the offense. That's what we can see. He played in it before in New England, but now he has to take away the little mistakes here and there. He has established a great connection with Jakobi Meyers, depsite only playing one game together, but has failed to get anyone else involved outside of Meyers and Adams. Hunter Renfrow has one target in two games, and that target was in garbage time last week. – Churchill

Trouble In Paradise With Davantae Adams?

Davantae Adams is scheduled to play this Sunday after some worries about a potential concussion. If he and Jimmy G don't start clicking soon, could there be rumblings of a potential trade demand from Adams' camp? – Gregson

No shot, in my opinion. And if he does, it will be in the offseason. But Adams has made sure to continue to harp on the fact that he wants to play for the team he grew up rooting for. To him, there is nowhere else to go. The only solution is to fix what's wrong. – Churchill

Is The Defense Any Good?

The defense may have run into a buzz saw last week vs, Buffalo, but they held Denver to only 16 points in Week 1. Are they outperforming expectations? – Gregson

No, and they won't this season. The defense is putrid, and even Maxx Crosby struggled last week. If the defensive line cannot create pressure, then the secondary will look bad. In all honesty, the secondary is outperforming expectations, but those expectations weren't very big. It's the defensive line that needs to step up. – Churchill
