The Houston Texans have had a very rough start to the 2023-24 season when it comes to on-the-field product and the bad news they are getting off of the field.
No, no one is in trouble or anything besides maybe the Texans themselves, but more bad news has struck in H-Town.
According to the team, on Thursday, the Houston Texans placed standout cornerback Derek Stingley on the Injured Reserved list as he deals with a hamstring injury.
Being placed on the list means the Texans could be without their best cornerback for at least four weeks, but reports are saying it's a 6-8 Week timeline.
The Texans have had a pretty decent pass defense so far regarding their secondary, and a big reason why is because of Stingley's work.
Now, they will have to rely on that production elsewhere.
