Dallas Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse fired off some angry tweets after NFL analyst Bart Scott made a poor attempt at a joke about Trevon Diggs's season-ending injury on national TV.
"This is a major, major blow for Dallas and like Stephen A. always says, 'just wait, something bad always happens,'" Scott said with a laugh on ESPN's "First Take" Friday morning.
Kearse didn't hold back with how he felt about Scott's uncalled-for commentary.
"This dude Bart Scott lame af for that weak ass shit," Kearse wrote on X/Twitter first.
He followed it up with, "keep these cornballs from off the tv."
Cowboys' linebacker Micah Parsons also had some words for Scott.
“Wtf ?? He ole hating ass old head!! Lame asf!! This why I really don’t like talking to dudes in the media!! As a former player you are a lame asf bro! Just facts joking bout a man trying to feed his family and building a legacy! ESPN gotta stop letting corn balls on tv!!” Parsons wrote in a quote-tweet.
Diggs, who had just turned 25 this week, suffered a torn ACL during one-one-drills in Thursday's practice. He is expected to make a full recovery, but it will be a long road and that's certainly nothing to joke about.
Cowboys’ plan to replace Trevon Diggs is crystal clear
No other way around it.
