Sunday could be a special day in the Vrabel household with Mike Vrabel's son, Tyler, potentially making his NFL debut with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons elevated Tyler from their practice squad on Saturday ahead of Week 3's road match against the Detroit Lions.
Before coming to Atlanta in 2021, Falcons head coach Arthur Smith previously served under Mike Vrabel as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator for the Titans.
Smith signed Tyler, a former Boston College offensive lineman, as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft.
In three seasons with the Eagles, Vrabel started 33 games between left and right tackle.
Atlanta's starting right tackle Kaleb McGary has not lived up to expectations over the past two weeks, so it's highly likely that we see young Vrabel get thrown into the action.
