Lamar Jackson has been on top of his game in the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 3 home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts have not had much of an answer for Jackson on the ground in the contest. The two-time Pro Bowler has so far tallied 101 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns against the AFC South side. He also reached the 100 rushing yards mark in a regular season game for the 13th time in his career.
Overall, 14 out of Jackson's 101 rushing yards so far in the game came on a crucial third down play in the fourth quarter. Even as it looked as if the Colts were going to bring down Jackson, the versatile quarterback managed to waltz his way out of the pocket for a much-needed first down.
Multiple former players were left in sheer awe of Jackson’s 14-yard run, including Mark Ingram. The three-time Pro Bowler took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to tip his hat to his former teammate.
Jackson did not necessarily enjoy much success in rushing the football in Baltimore’s first two games of the ongoing campaign. He combined for 92 rushing yards in the pair of matchups, but now, Baltimore sure must be pleased to see him add another dimension to the offense on the ground in Week 3.
In the big picture, the Ravens are looking to move to a 3-0 record on the season.
