The Buffalo Bills are looking much better on offense this week as it currently sits, Josh Allen hasn't had an incomplete pass, no turnovers, and a touchdown to boot.
The defense got off to a rocky start as QB Jimmy Garapolo marched down the field on the Raiders' first drive for a touchdown. Since then, the McDermott-led defense has clamped down on the Raiders offense.
Midway through the second quarter, Josh Allen marched the team down into the red zone and found Dawson Knox for a beautiful touchdown that had the defense fooled. With that, Dawson Knox is now tied for second in Bills history for most receiving touchdowns by a tight end.
The Buffalo Bills are deploying 12-personnel sets at an unprecedented rate in comparison to last year, which is seemingly allowing Knox time to shine on the offense.
Selfishly, we're hoping that this allows newly acquired Dalton Kincaid to get a few more targets thrown his way. However, Knox has been a big piece of the offense since his arrival and has become a trusty target for Allen throughout the regular season and postseason since joining forces.
There's still a lot of football left to be played, and the Bills Mafia knows all too well how this team can rip your heart out of your chest at the last minute. For now, it looks like the Bills came to play, let's hope it continues in the second half.
