Matt Gay's Week 3 performance continues to earn him recognition around the NFL.

The Indianapolis Colts kicker Matt Gay was named the AFC's special teams player of the week for his historical Week 3 performance.

Gay's Week 3 performance saw him make all five of his field goal attempts, four of which were from 50+ yards out—making him the first player in NFL history to make four field goals of 50+ yards in the same game.
