Alvin Kamara is set to make his return from his three-game suspension. He will have a special opportunity in his first game back, too.
Kamara is one touchdown away from setting the Saints franchise record for career touchdowns (73).
He is currently tied with former Saints wide receiver Marques Colston at 72 TDs.
Kamara's return can be historic in this manner, but he is also a big piece to the Saints offense this season. They need to find more success in the running game, and their star RB can help them find it.
Not to mention, his pass catching ability will only make Derek Carr's life easier once he returns from injury. For now, Kamara will help out Jameis Winston as yet another top-flight threat in the receiving game.
The trio of Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, and Rashid Shaheed was one of the best receiving groups in the NFL. Now, they add a former Pro Bowler as another option in the offense.
