The Kansas City Chiefs completed their final practice of the week on Friday before traveling to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers on "Sunday Night Football."
Their injury situation has improved with every player participating in practice in some capacity. That includes RB Jerick McKinnon (groin) and LB Nick Bolton (wrist), who both missed games in recent weeks. McKinnon missed the Week 12 tilt with the Las Vegas Raiders, while Bolton has missed the last four weeks while on injured reserve.
Both players will carry game status designations for Week 13 against the Packers.
Nick Bolton ruled out:
The Chiefs said they'd be cautious with Bolton in his return, and that's exactly the approach they're taking in Week 13. He returned to practice with a hard cast over his injured left wrist, and he's yet to graduate to a smaller cast.
While Andy Reid said he expected everyone to be available to play on Sunday, he clarified that didn't include Bolton.
“(We’ll) probably wait on Nick (Bolton),” he said.
The team later ruled Bolton out and did not activate him to the 53-man roster from injured reserve. It'll be at least another week of Drue Tranquill before Bolton returns to action.

Observations:
- Jerick McKinnon had two consecutive limited practices, leading to a questionable game status. Look for the team to be cautious with McKinnon this week and potentially elevate their newest practice squad signing to the 53-man roster.
