Steelers' Mike Tomlin takes a shot at his players following Cardinals game

It's hard to remember a game that took the turn Steelers vs. Cardinals did on Sunday.
A first drive that stalled in the red zone, the offense still marched down the field and looked on pace to continue to pick up where they left off from the Bengals game.
But then weather, injuries, poor execution, and downright weird scenarios took over, resulting in a bad loss.
Well, Steelers HC Mike Tomlin was candid in his feelings on the contest:
"Just JV Football in A Lot of Ways"
"You know, that was a horrible day at the office. Um, we didn't do much right in that game, to be quite honest with you. And so we gotta own that, obviously, starting first and foremost with me. Just losing football. Really was. We were highly penalized. Some pre-snap penalties, some operational penalties, bad snaps. Just JV football in a lot of ways."
Coach T is right, but that won't sit well with his players, nor should it. However, the reflection should also go inward. I understand the team lost their last viable linebacker in Elandon Roberts, then arguably their best offensive lineman in Isaac Seumalo, and finally their signal caller, their leader, and their captain, QB Kenny Pickett.
But that doesn't mean you can just layover and lose at home to a 2-10 team who is so far out of the playoff race they're closer to the first overall pick.
No one is absolved of the blame, as everyone's hands are dirty in this one, even with the injury misfortune and over 85 minutes of weather delays.
But hopefully the words from Coach Tomlin will light a fire under his guys, because they need it.
