Ross, 6-foot-5/233 lbs from Birmingham, AL, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama. He's also rated as the No. 10 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.

Tennessee's 2024 class is currently ranked No. 12 in the nation. That ranking could rise significantly if the Vols land five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton on Thursday.
