The Carolina Panthers might as well be another bye week.

At least, that is how it must feel for opposing teams when they match up against Frank Reich's group.

In 10 games played, nearly half of those matchups have produced Player of the Week Awards for opposing defensive players. Take a look for yourself:

  • Falcons S Jessie Bates
  • Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker
  • Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert
  • Colts CB Kenny Moore
  • Cowboys CB DaRon Bland

The lone Panthers to claim the Defensive Player of the Week Award was Frankie Luvu, who was awarded for the role he played a central role in the Panthers' win over the Houston Texans.

What has been a difficult Panthers season is only made worse by the poor play leading to awards for the other teams and players Carolina faces week in and week out.
