The Chicago Bears received some good news to start the weekend ahead of a big matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Bears wide receiver DJ Moore, who has been dealing with a ankle injury that he suffered in last weekend's win against the Detroit Lions, confirmed during an appearance on "Up and Adams" on Friday that he plans to play against Cleveland.
"Oh, not much, you know, just a little cautionary," said Moore when asked about the injury. "You know, it happened on Sunday, and I'm just working back through it."
Moore said "of course" he'll play when asked about his status.
Moore has caught 76 passes for 1,071 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He also has a rushing touchdown.
There's a chance that Moore could set a career high in receiving yards on Sunday against the Browns. The former Maryland standout is just 122 yards away from his career high, which was set in 2020 when he was with the Carolina Panthers.
