One of the Tennessee Vols' perceived top NCAA transfer portal targets announced on Thursday morning that he won't be visiting Tennessee this weekend as previously expected.

UConn Huskies tight end Justin Joly, who entered the transfer portal earlier this week, tweeted that his visit to Tennessee this weekend is no longer happening.

"I will not be going on an official visit to Tennessee this weekend things have changed and my weekend is now open," tweeted Joly.

It's unclear what led to Joly's tweet, though the wording of it certainly seems to suggest that canceling the visit wasn't his choice (that's speculation, of course).

Notre Dame tight end Holden Staes, who has two years of eligibility remaining, is still expected to visit Tennessee this weekend.

Tight end is a major position of need for the Vols this offseason with starters Jacob Warren and McCallan Castles moving on from the program.
