The Philadelphia Eagles remain the best team in the NFL after a thrilling 37-34 overtime win against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12.
The Eagles were down 17-7 after the first two quarters before dominating in the second half, marking just the third time in franchise history that they have won back-to-back games after trailing by 10 or more points at halftime.
While there were several MVP moments throughout this wild game — including Jake Elliot's 59-yard field goal to bring the team into overtime — Eagles' beloved quarterback Jalen Hurts sealed the Birds' victory with a 12-yard walk off touchdown run.
Hurts' MVP game-winning drive was so exhilarating that he was compared to the GOAT by his teammate and 14-year NFL veteran, Brandon Graham.
"They always talk about Tom Brady with the drives at the end," Graham said during his post-game presser. "I'm hoping Jalen starts getting that name and I'm just happy that he went out there and finished the game, had a game-winning drive. Keep them coming, because we're going to need all of that. I feel like the defense always tries to put them in the best position that we can and we love putting it in his hands at the end to give us a chance. That's one of the many that he's going to have and so I am very thankful to be a part of that."
Brady leads the NFL with 58 game-winning drives. Hurts has only eight so far, but it helps that teammates have plenty of faith in him to chalk up some more.
After a very slow start, Hurts finished the day completing 18 of 31 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 65 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Now 10-1, the Eagles take on the San Francisco 49ers as their next victim in Week 13.
