CJ Stroud is breaking NFL records as a rookie.

In Week 12, Stroud broke a record previously held by Justin Herbert. The record is for the most passing yards through a QBs first 11 games.

Stroud surpassed the mark with a 304-yard performance against the Jaguars.

After the game, Stroud was asked for his thoughts on making NFL history.

“It's a blessing, man. Honestly, for me everything always goes back to my faith and my family," the rookie signal-caller explained. "They gave me a lot of freedom to really hone in on my job, and this isn't college. This is a job."

Stroud has led his Texans to a 6-5 record and the team is firmly in the midst of the playoff race. Even though the Texans lost on Sunday, the team is feeling good and will have a chance to win another game next week against the Denver Broncos.

The Texans seem to be in good hands with Stroud under center.
