The Houston Texans just made a roster move that fans have been waiting for for some time now.

During the offseason, specifically around the time of training camp, one of the longest-tenured Texans players got injured. Charlie Heck was played on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

On Tuesday, the Texans activated him. This is huge because Heck is not a bad player, but he is a great depth piece. As we have all figured out the hard way this season, the offensive line depth has been huge in terms of a need.

The Texans just had an injury to Tytus Howard on Sunday, so that shows you how quickly things can change in the NFL. You never know how quickly you will need a backup.

In a corresponding move, the Texans waived linebacker Corey Littleton.
