Chicago Bears offensive lineman Darnell Wright got a chance to carry the football on Sunday during his team's win against the Detroit Lions.

And while Wright didn't make it far, he at least made a Lions defensive lineman pay for his attempt to tackle the former Tennessee Vols standout.

Wright picked up a fumble by Bears quarterback Justin Fields and he attempted to advance the ball. Lions defensive lineman John Cominsky then attempted to tackle Wright as soon as the fumble was recovered. Wright, however, lowered his shoulder and sent Comisky flying.

Comisky's attempted tackle allowed a Lions defender to tackle Wright from behind, but it was still an impressive show of strength from the former Vol.

By the way, Wright said after he was drafted by the Bears earlier this year that he was willing to line up anywhere on the field — from right tackle to wide receiver — so it's not a surprise that he saw his chance to turn into a running back and took it.
