The latest NFL-wide news only helps the Las Vegas Raiders, or does it?

Last week, there was still hope the Raiders could maybe go on a run and make the wildcard. After Week 14, those hopes are gone. So now what? Well, you get ready for the draft. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Chargers' star quarterback Justin Herbert is not expected to play on Thursday Night Football against the Raiders, as he is dealing with a fractured right index finger. So, this means that the Raiders' chances of winning, when they really should be trying to lose, are even higher.
Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and taking him out of the equation instantly makes the Chargers one of the worst offenses in the NFL, whereas they already were with him at quarterback.
Thursday Night Football could end up being a snooze-fest.
