The Tennessee Vols are poised to have a young secondary next season after several veteran defensive backs hit the NCAA transfer portal last week.

Tennessee is looking for some secondary help in the transfer portal to help offset the loss of depth.

On Tuesday, Villanova cornerback Devon Marshall tweeted that he received an offer from the Volunteers.

Marshall, 6-foot/200 lbs from Boston, MA, wasn't rated during the recruiting process, but he's turned into a solid player for the Wildcats.

During his two seasons at Villanova, Marshall has totaled 60 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 13 pass breakups. He also blocked a punt as a true freshman.

According to Villanova.com, Marshall was named the MVP of the Catholic Conference while helping lead his high school team to a state championship. He also had five kick/punt returns for touchdowns in high school.

Marshall has offers from Cincinnati, NC State, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia, among several others.
