Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is getting a lot of attention for his Monday Night Football comeback win over the Miami Dolphins, including from former NFL star Dez Bryant.
The three-time Pro Bowler showed full support for the rookie as Tennessee's QB1 on Twitter/X by writing a post to Titans' wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
"You know how much I hated you going to the Titans because I didn’t believe in their system for a premiere WR like yourself," Bryant wrote. "I must admit soon as they put Will Levis in the game I knew shit was going to change.
"Levis at QB gives you guys a true dominant balanced attack on offense. You guys looked like real contenders last night!"
It was a historic night for Levis, who became the first rookie to surpass 300 yards in a Monday Night Football game.
Levis completed 23 of 38 passes for 327 yards and a touchdown against Miami and became the franchise's first rookie starting quarterback to win in primetime.
Dez Bryant Warns Levis Not to Take Back His Ex
In addition to complementing Levis's victory, Bryant also fired off some advice to the rookie — warning him not to take back his ex-girlfriend, who may or may not come crawling back after his impressive Week 14 performance.
“I’m sitting here looking at the recap of Dolphins vs. Titans. Then I randomly thought about Will Levis Draft Day! If you are thinking don’t take your ex-girlfriend back bro,” Bryant wrote, referring to Gia Duddy.
"She got endorsements sitting next to you on draft night I remember. She wasted no time making herself the priority after going viral, Bryant added. "You got a chance to be a franchise QB make it a priority! Great win champ!”
Levis notably fell to the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft after being projected to go off the board on Day 1.
Duddy, who was pictured next to Levis on draft night and went viral, quickly landed a Burger King endorsement deal.
The two were later rumored to have split in September.
Whether or not Levis takes Bryant's unsolicited advice remains to be seen.
But with or without Duddy, Levis has a real chance to become the Titans' future franchise quarterback.
Will Levis’ star power might force Mike Vrabel to make a fundamental change
It’s time to take the training wheels off Will Levis.
