The Chicago Bears have released their first injury report ahead of Week 15's matchup against the Cleveland Browns that included several key starters.
The team already announced earlier on Wednesday that defensive end Yannick Ngakoue was placed on the season-ending injured reserve with a broken ankle.
During Wednesday's practice, Bears wide receiver DJ Moore did not participate with an ankle injury while safety Jaquan Brisker was listed as limited with a groin injury.
Here's the team's official injury report that was released following practice on Wednesday:
Moore tweaked his ankle during the Bears win in Week 14 but claimed he was fine while speaking with reporters following the game.
"I don't know who tackled me but it like kinda twisted my ankle," Moore explained. "It was fine though. I had to take a little breather and gather myself but I'm good."
Moore ended up finishing the game and even scored on a 38-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Moore has only missed two games during his six seasons in the NFL.
Fellow wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown once again did not participate in practice with a pectoral injury he suffered last week in practice. St. Brown missed Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions, he's 8th missed game of the 2023 season.
Linebacker Dylan Cole was the only other player listed on Wednesday's report. Cole did not participate in practice but the absence was listed as a personal reason.
Bears lose key defender for the remainder of the season
It’ll be a major loss for the unit.
