Members of the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line had a fleet of gifts waiting for them when they arrived at team facilities on Wednesday.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes got in the holiday spirit and gifted each of his offensive linemen custom golf carts. They're not too dissimilar from the custom golf cart that Patrick Mahomes had designed and auctioned off for charity for the match. They've got a red chassis, with black accents and each player's last name and jersey number is emblazoned on the side of the golf cart in white.
Here's a screen capture of Wanya Morris and Willie Gay Jr. riding around in one of the golf carts from Kingdom's Queens' Lexi Osborne.
You just know that the big guys will appreciate having these golf carts around the team facility to get around in.
FOX 4 Kansas City's Harold R. Kuntz took screen captures from Instagram, where Donovan Smith and Creed Humphrey both thanked Mahomes and showed off their new toys.
Mahomes is keeping up a specific golf theme for his holiday gifting, as last season each of his offensive linemen received custom red & black golf backs with an entirely new set of clubs. This year, they get the cart to go with it.
PFF currently ranks the Chiefs' offensive line No. 12 in the league heading into Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season. According to Pro Football Reference, the Chiefs have allowed the second-fewest sacks this season with 21 on the year.
As for the gripes from LB Willie Gay Jr., hopefully, Mahomes decided to gift something nice to his highly-ranked defense as well.
