The Los Angeles Chargers are getting one of the ir top players back from injury. Unfortunately, it comes too late in the season to make a true difference.

According to multiple sources, Joey Bosa is being designated for return by the Chargers.

Bosa has totaled just 26 tackles this season. He does have 6.5 sacks in limited play, though. The star edge rusher has played in just nine games this year.

2023 is the second season in a row where Bosa has missed a major chunk of time due to injury. Last season, he parted just five games for LA.

It's a shame due to the timing. His return comes after the loss of Justin Herbert, and star wideout Keenan Allen won't play in Week 16, either. Not to mention, Bosa now has an interim head coach as he returns to the field.

Regardless, it will be good to see him back in action for the Chargers.
