The Tennessee Vols' official Twitter/X.com account angered quite a few folks in the state of Tennessee on Sunday afternoon.
And it was all because they tweeted a highlight of a Vols legend.
On Sunday, former Tennessee defensive lineman Derek Barnett, who recently signed with the Houston Texans after he was released by the Philadelphia Eagles, sacked Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis in a game that Houston won in overtime.
There's obviously a large group of Vols fans who also cheer for the Titans. And those fans weren't too happy that Tennessee's account posted a video of their rookie quarterback getting sacked (Levis, by the way, was sacked seven times in the loss).
Here's a sample of some of the responses.

I'm sure whoever runs the Tennessee account wasn't expecting that type of response to a tweet about a beloved former Vol who holds the program record for most career sacks — especially since it clearly wasn't an anti-Titans tweet (and not every Tennessee fan is a Titans fan anyway).
But that's the internet for it. People just love to get mad.
