The Houston Texans made some precautionary moves to their practice squad on Tuesday. With C.J. Stroud being banged up last week and dealing with a concussion, the Texans went out and beat the Tennessee Titans on the road.

Case Keenum led the charge, and while C.J. Stroud is supposed to be back this week, the Texans lost out on getting a QB.

The Texans are preparing for Keenum again, just in case, which means they need a third QB to be the backup to Davis Mills as an emergency QB. They went after Nathan Rourke on the waiver wire from the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the New England Patriots snagged him first.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the Texans signed former New York Jets QB Tim Boyle. This is a precautionary move.
